Hollywoodlife reports:
We know Kristen Stewart was acting long before being cast in the Twilightseries, but we’re getting a little tired of her constant complaining about the role that gave her the big break she was waiting for!
Twi-hards are already flocking to Louisiana in hopes of catching a glimpse of their favorite vampires and werewolves as they descend on Baton Rouge to begin filming of Breaking Dawn. Fans can’t wait for filming to be complete, but the one person looking forward to the movie’s completion the most is star, 20-year-old Kristen Stewart.
After all the attention she’s received for being Bella Swan, the object of affection to 24-year-old Robert Pattinson’s character Edward Cullen, she’s continued to complain time after time about playing the same character over and over. She even opened up to Welcome to the Riley’s director Jake Scott about herfrustration.
"[Kristen]’s been playing this same character in—what?—two or three movies now, and that frustrates her," he said. "She wants to be taken seriously as an actress—and the crazy thing is, before Twilight, she was doing that kind of work…She’s very proud of her work in this [Welcome to the Riley's] movie."
It doesn’t help that her real-life boyfriend is co-star Robert Pattinson. Their relationship has kept theirvampy personas firmly in place and the paparazzi around every corner. However, it’s hard to have sympathy for Kristen, who was a virtual unknown before stepping into Bella Swan’s shoes.
Luckily, she’s already started to branch into different projects — so her Bella days are short-lived.
With Oscar buzz already generating over her role as Mallory in Welcome to the Riley’s and her role as Marylou in the just-wrapped film adaptation of Jack Kerouac’s On The Road, we’re pretty sure she’s on the right track to getting the respect she desires. Kristen will just have to accept the fact that for some she’ll always just be Bella.
