As we first reported, the bike is a 2010 Felt Breed Cyclo-X, which (for all you non-bike aficionados) costs $1,000 and can go off-road.
According to the manager at the store where the 24-year-old actor shopped called Capitol Cyclery, R-Patz “didn’t want a mountain bike” and “wanted something simple.”
Another prerequisite? “Rob said he wanted a bike that could get chipped and still be okay,” the manager told HollywoodLife.com exclusively.
Within less than an hour, Rob settled on his choice and even asked about carrying cases and shipping costs, but ended up taking his new purchase with him.
“He didn’t strike me as a movie star when he walked in the door,” the manager told us about Rob’s Sunday afternoon shopping spree.
