David Letterman had two words for Robert Pattinson when they taped Wednesday's episode of CBS' "Late Show."
"Bite me," the talk show host said in response to Pattinson's coy non-answer about whether he is dating Kristen Stewart, his co-star in "The Twilight Saga: New Moon."
Pattinson and Letterman had just discussed how fans ask the actor, who plays brooding vampire Edward Cullen in the film, to "bite" them. Letterman joked that "with the swine flu going around," it's not a very healthy practice. Then he asked if Pattinson does bite fans.
"Well, it depends on your mood, really...," Pattinson said. "And it depends on what you want to get out of it at the end. There's variations of biting."
